Bobby Roode stated that he was proud to call TNA his home for 11 years, and that during his 17-year career, he has loved being a pro-wrestler. He also admitted to ruining friendships and other things that he is ashamed of. He decided to retire, because he is tired with putting up with TNA President Dixie Carter. He thanked the fans and as he was about to leave, Dixie stopped him. Dixie was disgusted with his decision to leave, and told him to stay.
Roode was outraged by Dixie’s attitude as he stood by his decision. Dixie wanted him to lead Team Dixie, with 10% co-ownership of TNA upon victory, as long as the lawyers drew up a new contract. Roode agreed, but told Dixie that is she screws him over, he will make her life extremely hard!!!
