Someone on YouTube mentioned that the video to this song looks like and H & M commercial. But, what was displayed in the video is extremely appropriate for these times. Nice one Dua!

My first music post since 2013:
For those of you who saw the commercial for Target’s 2016 Fall TargetStyle Campaign, “Diggy” by singer/trumpeter Spencer Ludwig is the song that you heard. It is a great one as well. Spencer is one of music’s next great heroes.

For those of you who have seen the newest commercial from Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW), this song from this seventeen-member group, is pure 1970s Disco at best. And it’s one great song as well.
Escort’s self-titled debut album, which was released in 2011, and ranked by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the top 50 albums of 2012, is in stores now.

For those of you that have seen the commercial for Lord and Taylor’s This Is Fall campaign, this song is also pure 1970s Disco, and it’s great too.
Body Language’s album Grammar, is in stores now.

This video, done by this performer from France, appears to have fused the green lighting effects from Jennifer Lopez’s 1999 hit “Waiting For Tonight”, and a retro dance sound to make one creative video.

Earlier today on MTV U’s music video show entitled The Freshmen, I came across this video. It fused the music of the 1980s, and parts of Foster The People’s 2011 hit “Call It What You Want”, and Eminem’s 2003 hit “Superman”, and the end result: one wonderfully artistic video.
Alpine’s debut album entitled “A Is For Alpine” is available now in Australia and New Zealand. It will be available in the United States on May 21, 2013.
This video followed Alpine on The Freshmen, and the way it was filmed is pretty great!

I would like to make my first blog post of this year featuring two really great music videos of 2012:
If you probably read any of my past music posts, I have made comparisons of the sounds of some of today’s artists with the artists of the 1980s. It’s also due in part to the fact that I’m a fan of the music of the 1980s, that, and I was born in that decade. Anchor and Braille have done a wonderful job summoning the sounds of the ’80s to create this wonderful song. They are one of music’s next masters.
The sound, and the song itself, are both hypnotic. But, with 3 Ball MTY, along with America Sierra and Smoky, you get nothing but one great song.
