A scientist named Sigourney (Carrie Schroeder) develops an android in the form of a teenager girl named Frankie (Alex Hook). When her boss Mr. Kingston (J.D. Ballard) wants Frankie for a military company’s project, she wisks Frankie to her house to live with her, her husband and young daughter. Frankie begins to live life as a normal teenage girl as Sigourney enrolls her at the local high school where she makes friends, and an enemy named Tammy (Mohana Krishnan) while trying not to reveal her secret. In the process, Mr. Kingston began the search for Frankie.
In the past few years, Nickelodeon has reached out to Nickelodeon Latin America to adapt their shows for the United States. They were successful with the adaption of Grachi (2011-2013) entitled Every Witch Way (2014-2015) and Toni, la Chef (May 4-July 9, 2015) entitled Talia In The Kitchen (July 6-December 23, 2015). Apparently, Grachi/Every Witch Way was the most successful of all. I feel that this series will be a hit as well. That and Power Rangers Ninja Steel beat marathon airings of Spongebob Squarepants and The Loud House.
