This week begins with Triple H (Hunter Hearst Helmsley) standing in the ring with RAW General Manager Brad Maddox and SmackDown! General Manager Vickie Guerrero as he stated that firing Cody Rhodes, was good for business. He allowed the roster to voice their opinions on what has happened since Summerslam. Damien Sandow congratulated Hunter for firing Cody, and Heath Slater praised Hunter for doing his job. Rob Van Dam (RVD) and Kofi Kingston expressed their hatred and disgust on Hunter’s decisions while RyBack stated that he’s sick and tired of being labeled a bully. Hunter noticed that Daniel Bryan wasn’t there, and stated that he has an out of control ego.
1. A NON-TITLE MATCH: WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam (RVD) with Ricardo Rodriguez.
THE SPECIAL GUEST COMMENTATOR FOR THIS MATCH: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Alberto del Rio.
THE WINNER: RANDY ORTON.
INTERVIEW: Daniel Bryan.
Renee Young asked Daniel his thoughts on Hunter allowing the roster to speak, and he stated that management told him that he didn’t belong there. He stated that he doesn’t have an ego, and wants to be champion.
2. Dolph Ziggler vs. RyBack.
THE SPECIAL GUEST COMMENTATOR FOR THIS MATCH: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose.
THE WINNER: RYBACK.
3. A NON-TITLE MATCH: Kofi Kingston vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel.
THE WINNER: KOFI KINGSTON!!!
INTERVIEW: Paul Heyman.
Renee Young asked Heyman if he was concerned about Curtis Axel losing at Night of Champions, like his loss to Kofi Kingston. Heyman knows that he will have to fight CM Punk if Axel loses, and stated that overlooking Kofi was an error in judgement. Renee told him that Punk vowed a beating of a lifetime, much to Heyman’s anger.
A video of The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper) aired as Bray Wyatt continued to compare the classic Greek story of Icarus to Kane by saying “Kane has made his bed, and he’s burning in it!”.
4. A DIVAS MATCH: Naomi with Cameron vs. Brie Bella with Nikki Bella.
THIS MATCH WAS A NO CONTEST WHEN LAYLA, THE RETURNING ALICIA FOX AND THE RETURNING AKSANA, LED BY WWE DIVAS CHAMPION A.J. LEE, ATTACKED THE FOUR CAST MEMBERS OF TOTAL DIVAS.
A new video of the tag team Los Matadores aired.
5. TAG TEAM MATCH: The Real Americans (Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger) with Zeb Coulter vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey).
THE WINNERS: THE REAL AMERICANS.
6. A 3-ON-1 HANDICAP MATCH: The 3MB (Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre) vs. The Big Show.
THE WINNER: THE BIG SHOW!!!
7. A 3-ON-1 MAIN EVENT HANDICAP MATCH: The Shield (WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose and WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins) vs. Daniel Bryan.
