Bobby Roode, and his tag team partners for tonight’s main event, “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels and Kazarian (three members of Fortune reunited for one night!) vowed that Jeff Hardy will lose the TNA World title this Sunday at the Final Resolution pay-per-view. Daniels also vowed that “The Phenomenal” A.J. Styles will fall to him. A.J. arrived, labeled Daniels jealous of him and his success, and Roode, Daniels and Kazarian attacked him. A.J.’s tag team partners TNA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy, and “Cowboy” James Storm ran out and made the save.
1. TNA TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP: Samoa Joe (Champion) vs. Devon (Challenger/Former Champion).
THE WINNER, AND ONCE AGAIN, TNA TELEVISION CHAMPION: DEVON!!!!
NOTE: During the match, a female fan jumped onto the ring and distracted TNA Senior Referee Earl Hebner. Sr. The distraction enabled Doc of Aces and Eights to hit Samoa Joe with a crowbar for Devon’s victory. The fan was revealed to be affiliated with Aces and Eights.
Mickie James gave her first speech since being away for three months. She vowed that she will win back the TNA Knockouts Championship this Sunday. The reigning Knockouts Champion Tara and Jesse interrupted Mickie, and Tara was interrupted by the returning Velvet Sky!!! Velvet vowed that next year, she will win back the Knockouts title!!!
2. A NON-TITLE TAG TEAM MATCH: Robbie E. and Robbie T. vs. TNA World Tag Team Champions Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero, Jr.
THE WINNERS: HERNANDEZ AND CHAVO GUERRERO, JR.!!!!!
NOTE: After the match, Joey Ryan announced that he and “The Blueprint ” Matt Morgan will win the Tag titles this Sunday, and Morgan clotheslined the tag champions from behind! The Tag champions later on told Ryan and Morgan, “You want a fight, you got it!”.
3. Kurt Angle vs. Doc.
NOTE: TNA Referee Brian Hebner stopped the match when Aces and Eights interfered. They had Kurt Angle in their sights, but were run out of the ring by Samoa Joe, Garett Bischoff and Wes Brisco. Angle then challenged four of Aces and Eights to a match against him, Joe, Bischoff and Brisco this Sunday.
THE WINNER VIA DISQUALIFICATION: KURT ANGLE!!!!
4. A #1 CONTENDER’S MATCH: Kenny King vs. Kid Kash vs. Zema Ion.
THE REWARD: The winner will face Rob Van Dam (RVD) for the TNA X Division Championship this Sunday.
THE WINNER AND #1 CONTENDER: KENNY KING.
Bully Ray demanded that TNA General Manager Hulk Hogan give him a match against Austin Aries after what happened last week. He also threatened to hold the show hostage until he got what he wanted. Aries arrived and reminded Bully about the last time that they bought fought. Hulk arrived, and refused to give Bully a match. The Executive In Charge of the Knockouts Brooke Hogan ran out to prevent Bully and her father from fighting, because of personal problems between the two. Hulk finally gave in, and granted, Bully Ray vs. Austin Aries!!!
5. A SIX-MAN TAG TEAM MAIN EVENT: Bobby Roode, “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels and Kazarian vs. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy, “The Phenomenal” A.J. Styles and “Cowboy” James Storm.
