Earlier  this  month,  I  attended  The  2013  Washington  Auto  Show  at  the  Walter  E.  Washington  Convention  Center  in  Washington,  D.C.  There  were  some  great  automobiles  that  caught  my  eye,  and  some  that  didn’t.  I  also  wondered  why  Mitsubishi  and  Saab  weren’t  there,  and  I  also  wondered why  Porsche  wasn’t  there  (since  2009).  But,  here  are  a  few  photos  of  what  I  saw:
Looks  like  Lexus  took  a  page  from  The  Fast  and  The  Furious.  Either  that  or  they  wanted  their  own  version  of  the  Nissan  GT-R.
That,  and  here’s  the  GT-R:
In  honor  of  Mattel  Toys  celebrating  the  45th  Anniversary  of  their  beloved  Hot  Wheels  franchise,  they  partnered  up  with  Chevrolet  to  brand  the  Hot  Wheels  logo  on  the  Camaro.  Here’s  the  result  of  that  partnership:
As  they  say  in  the  Hot  Wheels  commercials  of  today:  HOT  WHEELS!  LEADING  THE  WAY!  BEAT  THAT!
And  here’s  one  from  Lotus:
And  now, as  a  gift  for  all  of  you,  a  gallery of  this  year’s  auto  show. Enjoy!!!
